I picked up N.Y.C.’s Smooth Mineral Starter Kit at Walmart. It came with a finishing powder, blush, two eyeshadows, and a kabuki brush. I’ll review each product individually over the next four days, starting with the Smooth Mineral Loose Finishing Powder in Natural Veil.
The finishing powder is $6.99 on its own. It’s light on my skin, and it gives a nice, smooth, matte finish over my tinted moisturizer. (N.Y.C. of course recommends you use it with their foundation powder.) It was also ideal for touch-ups over the course of the day. (Remember how I said it was supposed to be in the 90s? Yeah. My face was sweaty like you wouldn’t believe.) The kit comes with a kabuki blush for application.
I really like this product for summertime. The sample size is not that big, but I might pick up a full size version of this once I run out.
